О книге
Joseph Conrad was a Polish-British writer regarded as one of the greatest novelists to write in the English language. Though he did not speak English fluently until his twenties, he was a master prose stylist who brought a non-English sensibility into English literature. A Set of Six I contains three stories including The Informeran, The Brutean and Gaspar Ruiz, an enthralling novel of inspirational rise from obscurity to light. .

I really enjoyed «A Set of Six». The stories are so diverse and each one has its own unique atmosphere. Conrad's writing is just amazing — it's so vivid and immersive. I could feel the tension and the emotions of the characters. The way he describes the settings is breathtaking. I especially liked the story about the diamond miners in South Africa. It was so intense and captivating.

I found «A Set of Six» to be an interesting collection, but not all the stories were equally engaging for me. Some of them felt a bit slow and hard to follow. I think Conrad's writing style is definitely not for everyone. However, I did appreciate the complexity of the characters and the moral ambiguities presented in the stories. It made me think about the nature of human behavior and the choices people make.
