The book by the architectural designer and teacher has an interdisciplinary character. It attempts to combine two Russian schools: the dialectical philosophy of A. F. Losev and the architectural propaedeutics of N. A. Ladovsky. The key concept of the proposed methodology is the category of synthesis, the result is the substantiation of applied architectural aesthetics for the training of future designers and architects. Particular attention is paid to verbal thinking in the creative process. The book may be of interest to schoolchildren planning to study architecture and design, students of creative faculties, teachers of formal and architectural composition, architects, philosophers and all those interested in the issues of creating new expressive architectural compositions and problems of architectural theory.
